A 10cc liquid culture syringe of Lion's Mane mycelium [Hericium erinaceus].
This variety of Hericium was foraged and cloned November of 2024 and is the 'first cut' of the clone. Found near Bandit Taco by U Street NW in Washington DC, hence the name! It was also named 'Bandit' because of its fruiting placement . Needed to climb the tree to get this one!
The mycelium of this sample is extremely young! The fruiting body was still fresh for cloning and it seemed to have been a somewhat new germination.
Expect this variety to colonize very quickly. The mycelium is very visible and it will pull some cool morphologies if given low oxygen exchange. It seems to really know what it wants but will beat most situations to fruit!
